Mu Te Shin Do Ninja Bo kata
The Ninja Bo kata is a collection of strikes that might be studied as part of Ninjutsu Rokushaku Bo practise. The purpose of the kata is to improve footwork and body movement, as well as teach handling of the weapon. Kata practise provides a vehicle for self study, and above all - they are fun! Have a great time with this kata.
Learn it slow and then add speed; as much speed as you can. Remember to keep your knees bent at all times and push yourself a little with this kata. The Bo staff will start to feel heavy after a little while, and it is at this time you will get the most benefit from the practise, so stick with it.
Sensei Ryan and I filmed these in breaks during the adults classes so they arent the best quality – but they will do as a reference for now. We will get some better ones filmed soon.
