Mr Armstrong is founder of Mu Te Shin Do Martial Arts which includes Samurai Kindy, Samurai School, Shinobi Teens and Mu Te Shin Do. He has been involved in martial arts for over 30 years and is a black belt instructor of Soke Bo Munthe’s Mu Te Ryu for over 8 years, having previously served 2 years as Senpai to Lee Crowley Sensei. Mr Armstrong is now a personal student of Mr Bo Munthe, serves as regional representative for Edo Machi-kata Taiho Jutsu in the UK and is a life time member of Jiu-Jitsu International. Mr Armstrong is also awarded 4 Dan Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.





Mr Ryan Lloyd
Mu Te Shin Do Rank & Title: 4 Dan, Senior Instructor
Mu Te Ryu Rank & Titles: 4 Dan, Sensei
Mr Lloyd has been involved in martial arts for over 20 years and overseas all adult training at Mu Te Shin Dojo’s. Mr Lloyd is a black belt and Senior Instructor in Mu Te Shin Do, and is also an instructor in Soke Bo Munthe’s Mu Te Ryu. Life time member of Jiu-Jitsu International. Mr Lloyd served as Senpai to Lee Crowley Sensei for 1 year, and then with us for a further 2 years before being promoted to Sensei or full instructor license with Mu Te Shin Dojo’s. In 2009 Mr Lloyd was awarded 4 Dan in Mu Te Ryu and Mu Te Shin Do, as was promoted to Senior Instructor status. Mr Lloyd is also awarded 4 Dan in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
Mr Lloyd is authorised to teach all programs and is our lead instructor for adult training programs.

All instructors and assistant instructors over the age of 16 years are CRB checked and must adhere to a strict code of conduct in and out of the dojo at all times.
We operate an apprenticeship type instructor training in that everyone must first serve as Coach or Junior Assistant for a minimum of 12 months before being considered as a Senpai or Assistant Instructor. In order to qualify as an instructor or Sensei (and possible privillege to open their school) the participant must be 18+ years, have minimum grade of 1st degree black belt in our syllabus, and at least 2 years instructor training (1 year as a Coach and 1 year as Senpai).
